Diamond Head State Monument
Hawaii's most famous landmark--a large tuff cone which was formed by a short series of explosive eruptions some 100,000 years ago; National Natural Landmark. Hanauma Bay State Underwater Park
Observation of reef fishes and corals through snorkeling or SCUBA diving; good area for novices. Swimming. Adjoining land area is a City and County beach park. Interpretive kiosk in beach park pavilion.

Iolani Palace State Monument

U S S Arizona National Memorial
The USS Arizona Memorial is the final resting place for many of the battleship's 1,177 crew members who lost their lives on December 7, 1941. The national memorial commemorates the site where World War II began for the United States.
